You can permanently delete your Zipplign account and the data attached to it. Deletion cannot be undone.
Delete from inside the app
- Open Zipplign and go to your Profile.
- Tap the menu icon, then Settings.
- Scroll to Account and choose Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is removed immediately.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer sign in, email support@zipplign.com from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my Zipplign account" and include your @username. We verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, username, bio, profile photo and cover photo.
- All of your Zipps, iZipps, uploaded sounds, captions and thumbnails.
- Your comments, likes, saves and follow relationships.
- Your direct messages and live room chat history.
What we may keep
We retain limited records where we are legally required to, or where they are needed to resolve abuse and safety reports — for example moderation logs about content you were reported for. These are kept for no longer than 12 months and are not used to rebuild your profile.
Timing
In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Backups containing your data are cycled out within 30 days.
