Zipplign ("we", "us") operates the Zipplign short-form video app and website. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account data — email address, username, display name, bio, profile photo and cover photo you choose to add.
- Content you create — videos (Zipps), iZipps, sounds you upload, captions, comments, messages and live room activity.
- Activity data — likes, saves, follows and views, used to rank the feed and show your stats.
- Device and camera access — the camera and microphone are used only while you are recording a Zipp or joining a live room. Nothing is captured in the background.
How we use it
- To run the core features: feed, profiles, messaging and live rooms.
- To personalise what you see and surface trending content.
- To keep the platform safe — moderating reported content and enforcing our terms.
- To notify you about activity on your account.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Content you post publicly (Zipps, profile, comments) is visible to other users. We share data with infrastructure providers who host the app, database, storage and authentication on our behalf, under contract and only as needed to operate the service. We may disclose data where legally required.
Storage and security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with row-level access rules so that private content — direct messages, wallet balances, drafts and view records — is only reachable by the accounts entitled to it. Media files are served through short-lived signed links.
Your choices
- Edit or remove your profile details and delete your Zipps at any time in the app.
- Block or report accounts from any profile or clip.
- Delete your entire account and its content — see Account deletion.
Children
Zipplign is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We remove accounts we learn belong to underage users.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Continued use of Zipplign after an update means you accept the revised policy.
